Trichocereus aff. pachanoi
Cerro San Pedro,
Cochabamba,Â
Bolivia
2010
This is a rare clone that was field collected in 2010 by Ben Kamm of Sacred Succulents. Although these are labeled as “pachanoi”, the “aff.” stands for affinity meaning that this clone is likely closer related to bridgesii but has the appearance of a pachanoi. Most of the pachanoi collected by Kamm in Bolivia was labeled as such because they all share the same similar bridgesii traits. Thankfully, Kamm took photos of the field collected mother plants in Bolivia (see 3rd photo above). This is quite the interesting clone. In Bolivia, they call their local growing pachanoi, “Achuma”.
