‘Serra Blue’: Trichocereus peruvianus

This is a legendary clone that I originally acquired straight from the source, Serra Gardens here in Fallbrook, CA. This is a gorgeous fat, blue peruvianus clone. This has been a highly significant clone in the community resulting in a plethora of hybrids being produced with the clone, mainly by Ben Kam of Sacred Succulents. According to the owners of Serra Gardens, they acquired most of their plants (including this peruvianus) from Ed and Betty Gay who were well known Cactus & Succulent society members known for their beautiful plants they brought from other countries by field collecting in the ’60s-’70s. Field collected specimens are highly sought after.
